npc_id is a techno DJ from Belgrade, Serbia. By his own account, electronic music has been part of his life for more than twenty years — as a listener across both the commercial and the underground end of the scene — but he only stepped behind the decks at the end of 2024, learning the craft through the Perfect Pitch Academy in Belgrade.
He plays groovy, funky hardgroove and fast, high-energy peak-time techno. His sets mix quick beats, vocals, atmospheric melodies and darker tones, moving between raw energy and slower, more emotional passages. In his own press kit he calls himself a "genre nomad".
His listed gigs are recent and local: a 189 Cloud Session in Belgrade (11 March 2025) and Kult Talents at Kult, Belgrade (26 March — RA prints this one without a year). He posts recorded playthrough sets on SoundCloud and YouTube.
He came to Sonic Shift through the open call on Instagram and is booked for Episode 44 on 27 September 2026.
